A sea of intermingling colors washing across a meadow is arguably the most potent and poetic portrayal of the wildflower. The field, while outwardly chaotic in its arrangement, has an inherent highly organized and mathematical story. It is an organic documentation of unplanned rhythms– wind patterns, animal and insect trajectories and temperature fluctuations. This proposal is a pairing of the idyllic image of the meadow with the complex and naturally occurring systems from which it’s formed.
